Branded UGC video

Videos primarily intended for posting on the brand's profile. These videos may be supported by advertising aimed at brand awareness.
Compared to a sales set, this is a cohesive video that is more complex to create, involving more creativity. Trends are explored, and we look at what works on other platforms.

Sales UGC set

One set of videos includes a group of videos, where each video has the same core - the same body or content. However, each video varies in the "hook" (the beginning of the video) and the "CTA" (Call to Action).
Hooks serve as unique elements at the beginning of a video designed to grab viewers attention and captivate them. Each hook is crafted to appeal different segments of the audience or elicit various emotional reactions.
Overall, this strategy is used to test, which combinations of hooks and CTAs generate the best response from the audience, thereby optimizing the performance of the overall campaign.

Individual parts of the videos

UGC videos will be divided into blocks in the scripts. Each block will have its own function and specific footage. This way, we create a large number of shot combinations that we can test in ads and rearrange based on what works. For example, if we notice in an ad that people are leaving the video at the point where "Function" appears (see below), we can cut out that part of the video and re-set the ad without that segment.

FAQ

What is the difference between UGC creators and influencers?

At first glance, UGC and influencer marketing may appear similar, but there are important distinctions. UGC is content produced by everyday users, while influencer marketing involves partnerships with popular personalities on social media. A significant difference is where the videos are shared: influencer marketing features content on the influencer's profile, whereas UGC creators post their videos on the company's profile. While both approaches can be effective, UGC is generally more cost-effective and is viewed as more authentic since it originates directly from consumers.

Why could not we find creators ourselves?

Of course, you can. In the Czech Republic, there are hundreds of people engaged in UGC creation who can shoot videos for you, often even in exchange for barter. However, you need to consider whether you have enough internal resources to write a brief, conduct research, review all the creators' portfolios, communicate with them, negotiate terms, arrange and monitor the outputs, address any necessary video revisions, and, last but not least, handle all contractual and invoicing matters. If you have the capacity to manage all of this yourself, that's great. If you want to free up your hands in this process, we would be happy to help you handle it all.

How is the sending of products handled?

In order for UGC creators to shoot individual videos, they must, of course, have your products or try out your service. In the case of physical products, you, as the client, send the products to our offices in Prague or directly to the creators' addresses. After trying out the products, the creators will film the videos.

How many videos are worth testing? Is there a minimum?

If you want to build your profile on social media and utilize branded UGC videos, we recommend creating around 8+ per month. For sales sets, we recommend at least 4 key points and 6 hooks for each, totaling 24 versions. The more videos we test, the greater the likelihood of success and return on investment (a larger number of videos = a higher chance that among them will be videos that perform well and generate revenue).

How long does it take to deliver the videos?

We are able to deliver UGC videos within 10 days of providing the products to the creators.

How can the videos be used? What are the licenses?

Generally, licensing for the use of videos is a significant consideration in UGC creation. Typically, the discussions revolve around how long the client can use the videos, on which platforms, and whether they can make additional edits (such as re-editing, etc.). We always strive to negotiate terms that are beneficial for both the client and the UGC creators.

1 video = 1 product?

We can create, for example, 4 different videos or sets of videos, where each video/set focuses on showcasing a different product. However, we can also dedicate all the videos/sets to just one product, presenting it in a slightly different way each time. This is subject to individual agreement before the start of the collaboration.
